Paladin is an exception in every sense of the word. Having been born and raised in Rural Eastern Oregon on big pastures with solid herd dynamics, he has built-in ground manners and respect with a well developed balance and way of going. Paladin has been surrounded by cattle and farm equipment his whole life, he is used to the action and has a good work ethic.
Paladin has been hauled and shown in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California, in Cowboy Dressage. He has been used for ranch horse versatility clinics and shows, where he tracks cows and enjoys extreme trail obstacles. Paladin is schooled in classical dressage as his foundation. He is especially fond of trail riding in the mountains and truly enjoys having a job.
Under saddle, Paladin has beautiful gaits, cadenced and responsive. He has begun learning his flying leads this year and is coming along nicely. Goes English or Western, Man, Woman or Youth riders.
No vices, easy keeper, sound, healthy, reliable in every way. Loads, hauls, ties, shoes, without issue. This incredibly handsome boy is the perfect age to go do anything with. He has an early start on the spring time conditioning and will be ready to show right away.
