Rita as a powerhouse of a mare built with the classic and hard to find authentic Quarter Horse sprinting speed!
Having been hauled around horse camping from the mountains to the beaches, used on the ranch to work cows, play in the local shows, and ridden side-saddle - she has proven her ability to go with the flow. But her true niche in life are speed events.
She has been patterned in barrels and started in poles and is ready to start competing. Rita would be fabulously suited as a high school or college rodeo mount. She is fine-tuned and responsive, therefore needing an intermediate and up rider, ideally, someone who is competitive and serious about their riding. Once she has partnered with her rider, she will be extremely competitive. If you are looking for a horse to go to the top with, she is the one.
We are looking for someone who appreciates the finer things in their riding experience, someone who will utilize Rita's built-in buttons and really put her to work. She is a talented and awesome horse to have around and ride and we want someone who recognizes and capitalizes on all that she has to offer.
